The first time Mike seen a Mico-Sprint Car was at the
Syracuse Fairgrounds in New York in 2003. After meeting and talking with the drivers Mike was hooked. The cars are fasinating, fast
and rather inexspensive to race. The Micro-Sprints run with a chain driven 250cc or 270cc dirtbike engine which is very easy
to work on. We've tried the "Stockcar Racing" thing for a couple of years but with so many different rules and the
expense ragarding the Stock Cars their was no question but to pursue the Micro-Sprint Cars.
"Their is a great brotherhood link between all of the drivers". "Everybody helps out one another...don't
get me wrong these guys compete but at the sametime they take care of thier equipment and they want to see you come back".
We bought our Micro-Sprint in December of 2008. We belong to the "Sunshine Micro Sprint Club". Weekends
when we don't have horseshows Mike can be found racing his Sprint Car.
Mike's
first year in the Micro's earned him 4th in the year-end points and the "2009 Rookie Of The Year"
